Jürgen Nefzger - Nocturnes

In Nocturnes, we near a city plunged into standby, immobilized between periods of urban
bustle. Jürgen Nefzger provides a journey that explores the hidden side of daily space in
the uncertainty and the pleasure of discovery. From one photograph to the next, we follow a
solitary path starting from the heights of the volcanoes to move into the city. Following a
trail, however, is less important than letting oneself be invaded by a nocturnal atmosphere.
We sink gradually into Clermont-Ferrand, which sprawls at the foot of the Puy chain of
mountains, on the lookout for the first glow of dawn that will not break.
